Leicester City manager Ruud van Nistelrooy has hailed Mads Hermansen as an outstanding goalkeeper.
In an interview with the club’s website, the Dutch coach expressed his admiration for Hermansen’s performances this season.
“He’s having an excellent season overall. He’s made a lot of saves, though we’re working to reduce that workload. Mads is a complete goalkeeper—an excellent shot-stopper and a skilled footballer.”
“He (ten Rouwelaar) will undoubtedly help Mads improve. He has a proven track record of working with young, talented goalkeepers and developing them to reach the highest level.
“Verbruggen is a great example, as he worked with him at Anderlecht. He also worked with Onana at United, where Onana was arguably in the best form of his career during those months under Jelle’s guidance.
“He’s a fantastic addition to the team, not only enhancing the goalkeepers’ abilities and their play from the back but also improving the players around the keeper. Building from the back requires everyone’s involvement, and he’s excellent at managing that entire process.”
