Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou has heaped praise on Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim for the remarkable transformation he has brought to the Red Devils since taking charge.
The two managers are set to go head-to-head on Thursday night in a crucial clash, with both sides vying for a spot in the semi-finals during a demanding football schedule leading up to the festive break.
Speaking to the club’s website, Postecoglou highlighted how Amorim has made United a tough team to beat.
“Yeah, he seems to have made an immediate impact,” Postecoglou remarked.
“As I mentioned earlier, Manchester United is a club that always comes with a lot of noise. That’s just the nature of the club, and managing that is as much of a challenge as the job itself for anyone who steps in.
“He’s obviously adjusted the formation a bit and given different players opportunities to assess the squad, but as they showed over the weekend, they remain fierce competitors. I’m looking forward to meeting him and taking on the challenge tomorrow.”
