Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne has dismissed speculation about leaving the club. Despite his contract expiring at the end of the season, the Belgian playmaker told Sky Sports he feels the time is not right to depart the Etihad Stadium.
There’s nothing significant to announce yet, though I hear a lot of speculation—it’s as if others know more than I do! Perhaps I need to have a conversation with someone, but for now, the time hasn’t come. I’m fine letting things unfold naturally.
“After last year’s serious injury and a six-month recovery, I’ve faced setbacks, but I still feel I can make an impact. When the time comes where it feels too difficult, I’ll decide. For now, I still feel good and ready to contribute.
