Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah expressed his joy over the team’s dominant 6-3 victory against Tottenham in Sunday’s Premier League clash.
The Egyptian star, who scored twice, commended the team’s offensive efforts while acknowledging room for improvement defensively.
“We performed brilliantly in attack, but conceding three goals shows we need to strengthen as a unit at the back. It’s a great result, and we hope to maintain this momentum,” Salah remarked.
“We expected that (a chaotic game), the way they play, they open the game, they enjoy their football, physically tough, and mentally we always have to be in the game.
“They don’t change much the way they play; it’s intense. City came here and struggled, and other teams too. I’m happy we won because they play an intense game.”
