Former Nigerian international Obafemi Martins believes Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman has the potential to play for any top Premier League club.
Martins made this statement after Lookman was named African Player of the Year by CAF on Monday.
Praising Lookman’s consistency for both club and country, Martins told Livescore that the Super Eagles star has the ability to succeed at top clubs like Arsenal, Manchester United, and Liverpool.
“He’s one of my favorite players too—my favorite striker. Every time I watch him, I see a lot of similarities to how I used to play, but he’s probably better technically in every aspect. H
e knows how to score goals, so I’m really happy for him, and I believe he can achieve even more.
