Liverpool dropped more points after a dramatic 2-2 draw with Fulham at Anfield in the Premier League on Saturday.
The Reds, aiming to bounce back from their previous 3-3 draw with Newcastle, faced an uphill battle after Andy Robertson’s red card for denying a goalscoring opportunity.
Fulham took the lead early through an Andreas Pereira effort, while Liverpool equalized twice via Cody Gakpo and Diogo Jota.
Despite dominating the second half, Liverpool remain league leaders with 36 points but risk narrowing their lead if Chelsea wins on Sunday.
Antonee Robinson’s clever play on the left set up Andreas Pereira, whose acrobatic effort deflected off Robertson to beat Alisson.
Moments later, Robertson brought down Wilson and was sent off after a VAR review for denying a scoring opportunity. Liverpool started the second half strongly, with Salah crossing for Gakpo to head in the equalizer, upheld after a VAR check.
Fulham regained the lead through Rodrigo, who finished a cross from Robinson. Jota rescued a point for Liverpool late on, turning sharply to score past Leno.
