Mikel Arteta has expressed his frustration over Arsenal’s loss to Newcastle United at St. James’ Park on Saturday.
A first-half goal from Alexander Isak secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory for the Magpies against Arsenal, who are hopeful contenders for the Premier League title.
This marks the Gunners’ second league defeat, having previously lost 2-0 to Bournemouth.
“We didn’t find enough solutions to many of the questions and situations that needed better resolution,” Arteta told TNT Sports. “So I’m quite frustrated.”
When asked how he plans to motivate his team for the upcoming big matches, Arteta responded, “It’s time to perform on the pitch.”
“You know, we can say whatever we like. We might not find the right words today because losing a game hurts. However, we need to demonstrate it on the pitch on Wednesday night.”
